The Provensen's.
Saw these gorgeous illustrations on Twitter, did a little digging and found out they were by husband and wife team Martin and Alice Provensen. They had amazing careers together through the middle of the 20th century, working on the original Tony the Tiger for Kellogg's as well as writing and illustrating loads of children's literature. Although Martin died in 1987, Alice - now 95 - still draws and I have to say, their work is amazing!
I love the texture and perspective they use in 'The Iliad and the Odyssey' Homer for Young Readers. Although they're over 50 years old, they look amazingly current while also looking very authentic and traditional - the Provensen's are definitely on my growing list of favourite artists!
If you want to read a little more about this, I got the images from here: http://www.brainpickings.org/index.php/2013/08/14/iliad-odyssey-provensen/

NYC!
Here's a couple of photos from my recent trip to New York.
The museums were so good! It was great seeing so many famous works of art in one place, as well as some artists I'd never heard of.
My favourite pieces of work were either the Gustav Klimt or Frida Kahlo's paintings (and of course the Van Gogh's and Monet's!)
I'll put some of the non-art pictures up later.

Check out this feature on my work from Business Boom Collective! It came out a week or so but I was in New York so I didn't get chance to post (more to come on my trip!)
